How to Use and Maintain Your Taps and Sinks
Easy-to-follow guidelines for trouble-free operation

- Turn on the Water Pump:
Before using the taps, make sure the water pump is activated on the control panel. Without this step, the taps will not function. - Check the Wastewater Tank:
If you notice slow draining or water backing up, the wastewater tank might be full. Be sure to empty it to restore proper drainage. - Avoid Sink Blockages:
- Never dispose of food waste down the sink—this can cause blockages, either in the sink itself or during wastewater tank disposal.
- If a blockage occurs, avoid using harsh chemical products, as these can damage your plumbing.
Simple and Safe Ways to Clear Blockages
If you encounter a clog, try the following methods:
- Hot Water Method:
- Boil water using a kettle or pan.
- Carefully pour it down the sink in stages, allowing time for the hot water to break down grease or soap build-up.
- Plunger Method:
- Use a sink plunger to generate enough pressure to dislodge the clog.
- Ensure there’s enough water in the sink to cover the plunger’s cup, which will improve suction.
- Physical Drain Unblocker (as a last resort):
- For stubborn clogs, use a drain snake to remove the blockage manually.
- Be cautious and apply only light pressure, as the sink traps and waste pipes are made of plastic and could be damaged easily.
