Refilling Your Fresh Water Tank: A Hassle-Free Guide
Easily top up your fresh water tank with our handy guide.
Filling Up at Campsites
-
Locate the Filler Inlet:
- Find the fresh water filler inlet on the side of your motorhome.
- Lift the flap to reveal a lockable stopper—use your habitation key to unlock it.
-
Set Up Your Hose:
- Insert one end of the hose into the inlet.
- Attach the other end to the campsite’s tap (you may need an adapter, depending on the site).
-
Monitor the Water Level:
- While filling, check the water level from the main control panel in the habitation area.
-
Overflow Pipe:
- When the tank is full, excess water will drain through the overflow pipe underneath the vehicle. This ensures you won’t overfill.
-
Finish Up:
- Replace the stopper and lock it securely.
Other Water Filling Options
- If you're not staying at a campsite, many service stations offer water filling facilities.
Important Notes
- For Non-Drinking Use Only:
- The water in the fresh water tank is not safe for drinking. We recommend using it for washing up, showering, and flushing the toilet.
- Be Patient:
- It can take time to fill the tank, especially when using some service station taps.
