How to Ignite Your Oven or Grill

Set the Dial

For the oven, push in and turn the dial to the left.

For the grill, push in and turn the dial to the right.

Hold the dial in this position for 3–5 seconds.

Light the Gas Press the ignition button to light the gas.

Secure the Flame Once the gas is ignited, keep the dial pressed in for an additional 5 seconds to ensure the flame stays lit. After this, release the dial. For the oven, you can adjust the temperature as needed using the same dial.
To Ensure Gas Supply: You should hear the gas flowing to the rings when the knob is pressed in. If the gas isn't flowing
- Check the LPG (gas) bottle is turned on.
- Confirm there is sufficient gas remaining in the bottle.
- Ensure the gas isolation valve to the hob is in the open position (vertical). The isolation valves are normally found in one of your kitchen cupboards.
