How to use the electric hook up cable

How to insert and remove the electric hook up cable when at a campsite

The electric hook up will enable the 230V plugs in your campervan or motorhome to work.

  1. Find the Hook-Up Cable: Locate the hook-up cable in the garage area of your motorhome.
  2. Connect the Cable: Plug the cable into your motorhome first, then into the power supply at your pitch. Make sure the cable is fully unwound before connecting it to the campsite power source.
  3. Activate the Power Supply: If necessary, turn on the power supply at the campsite.
  4. Turn on the Control Panel: Switch on your main control panel. If power is reaching the motorhome, an electrical plug icon will light up.
  5. Check Connections if No Power: If the plug icon isn't displayed, double-check all connections and the RCD trip switches (this will be located on the inside of the motorhome, normally in a cupboard that is in the same area as the hook up point). Ensure the switches are in the ON position:
    • ON Position: The switch lever is usually up or towards the "I" symbol.
    • OFF Position: The switch lever is typically down or towards the "O" symbol.
    • Note: There are trip switches in both the motorhome and at the campsite power supply. If unsure, ask a staff member for assistance.
