Helpful Tips
- Starting Up for the First Time: It may take several hours—or even overnight—to reach your desired temperature, especially if you fill the fridge with room-temperature items.
- Keep Door Openings to a Minimum: This helps the fridge maintain its chill.
- Monitor Battery Levels: If you're using your leisure battery to power the fridge, keep an eye on its charge.
- Park on Flat Ground: Your fridge works best when your motorhome is level. If you’re on an incline, cooling could be affected.
Troubleshooting Error Codes
Your fridge display will flash error codes to let you know something needs attention:
- Error 11: No power available in automatic mode. Check your power source (electric, 12V, or gas).
- Error 10: In manual mode, this means there’s no 230V current or it’s too weak. Try switching sockets, checking the supply cable, or consider changing to gas.
- Error 7: The fridge is set to 12V, but the engine isn’t running. Remember, absorption fridges don’t work solely on a 12V battery.
- Error 3: No gas available. Double-check that:
- The gas bottle is fully opened.
- Ensure the gas isolation valve to the fridge is in the open position (vertical). The isolation valves are normally found in one of your kitchen cupboards.
- If your control panel isn’t lighting up, but there’s power elsewhere in your motorhome, check the fuse.
