How to operate the Windows, Blinds & Flyscreens

Your vehicle comes fitted with a variety of windows, blinds, flyscreens and skylights

Watch our video to learn more about some of the windows and blinds in your vehicle.

Note: The windows in your motorhome may slide open rather than operate on hinges.

Standard Window Operation

  1. Releasing the Handles

    • Press the button on the bottom two handles and pull the levers upward to release.
    • For the side handles, no button is required—simply pull the levers to open.
  2. Opening the Window

    • The windows use a ratchet system, so open them to your preferred level until you hear a click that locks them in place.
  3. Closing the Window

    • Push the window upward fully to disengage the ratchet system, then let it settle back into the closed position.
    • Finally, click the handles securely back into place.

Alternative Window Operation

  1. Releasing the Handles

    • These windows also have buttons on the handles for release. Follow the same process as above.
  2. Adjusting the Arm

    • On the side of the window, locate the arm with a normal handle. Release this handle and open the window.
    • To secure the window at your desired width, use the small rotary knob on the arm to lock it in place.

Slide-Style Windows

  • Opening: Hold and release the trigger on the window catch, then slide the window to the right.
  • Closing: Pull the window back to the left and click the catch securely into place.

Silver Screens

To take off, remove the suction cups carefully, and store in your vehicle.
